Next week, on Saturday, June 29, The Northside Stage is hosting a day-long music festival at the Northside Community Center here in town. From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., you can hear local musicians perform, attend workshops and masterclasses, and learn about songwriting, improv, and more throughout the day. This free event is perfect for all music lovers and includes jam sessions and group lessons taught by the top musicians in Tallahassee.
The Northside Stage was founded by Wildwood Presbyterian Church and “local musicians with a passion for collaboration” in 2012 with the purpose of connecting local and regional artists with audiences.
The first of its kind hosted by The Northside Stage, Sarah Roeber, Interm Director of Worship Arts at Wildwood, says that, “this is the biggest Northside Stage event since it started.”
