TALLAHASSEE, Fla — Local nightclub and performance venue, The Moon, located at 1105 E Lafayette Street, will be hosting their first Stetsons on the Moon event since closing amid COVID-19 safety concerns on Friday, October 16, 2020. Beginning at 9:00 p.m., only 30% of The Moon’s capacity will be admitted.
Stetsons on the Moon features a mix of club and country music and dancing for those 21-years-old and older. Admission is $10, and line dancing instruction will be given. Smoking is not allowed, and proper dress is required to be admitted into the venue. To guarantee admission, you can purchase tickets ahead of time online, here.
Per Governor DeSantis’ orders, The Moon closed temporarily amid COVID-19 concerns back in mid-March of this year. Since, the largest privately-owned event venue in Tallahassee has undergone major renovations, such as roof, bathroom, kitchen, and production booth updates. This event will celebrate The Moon’s soft reopening as their first dancing event of the fall season.
